April Peggy Fucci The president and CEO of OneWorld Properties was interviewed at the sales center for Paramount Miami Worldcenter, which is now completed. Her company recently opened its second sales office in China.

September David Samson Samson was celebrating his 15th year as president of the Marlins, who won the World Series in 2003 and subsequently built a new ballpark in Little Havana. A group led by Derek Jeter bought the Marlins for $1.2 billion in 2017.

July Bob Birdsong The CEO, president and owner has built OK Generator into the largest independent dealer of standby power systems in the United States. He also helped launch the Deerfield Beach Economic Development Corp., where he is chairman.

June Michael Daszkal Daszkal co-founded Daszkal Bolton with one partner in 1992 and grew it into a powerhouse with three offices and 130 employees. The firm in 2018 was named to the “Best Places to Work” list by Florida Trend.

May Mike Beedles The SATO Global Solutions president talked about how data can be gathered from “internet of things” devices. Beedles is now chairman of Acuitas Digital, which helps create a seamless digital retail experience, and chief operating officer and chief technology officer of HeavenlyRX, a hemp and CBD operating company.

December Lisa Lutoff-Perlo Lutoff-Perlo is a pioneer as the first female president CEO of a publicly traded cruise line, Royal Caribbean’s Celebrity Cruises. Lutoff-Perlo also leads RCL’s Global Marine Organization, which helps ensure its 46 ships run safely, smoothly and efficiently.

November Jeff Greene Real estate investor Greene made $800 million anticipating the housing crash during the Great Recession and then heavily invested in Palm Beach County property. In April 2019, Greene broke ground on the $300 million One West Palm, a two-tower project with offices, hotel suites and residences.

October Aurelio Fernandez III Fernandez, who had 23 years of health care experience, had just been promoted to CEO of the Memorial Healthcare System in April 2016. In 2017, Memorial signed an agreement to bring in the services of the highly regarded Moffitt Cancer Center.
