  • Apollo Bank being acquired Suncoast Credit Union, the largest credit union in the state with $10 billion in assets, is acquiring Miami’s Apollo Bank, which has $746 million in assets and five branches. Apollo Bank CEO Eddy Arriola will serve as Suncoast’s South Florida market president.

  • Rebag opens at Dadeland Luxury handbag company Rebag has opened in Dadeland Mall.

  • Smart Brickell gets loan Habitat Group is starting construction on its Smart Brickell project after securing a $24 million loan from Ocean Bank.
